One of many things that excites me about fashion is seeing black models on the runway. I remember my first time working Fashion Week in 2010 for Zac Posen and when the music started — Sessilee Lopez opened the show with a stellar entrance and a mean walk! My heart raced with excitement as she graced the runway, setting the tone for Zac Posen’s debut of Z Spoke. To be in the midst of all of that will forever be embedded in my mind & with that I pay homage to Sessilee Lopez, an inspiration to young black women pursuing a modeling career everywhere!
