RACHEL ZOE PRE FALL 2012

Rachel Zoe PF12 collection always reflects her image and that is one of the aspects of the line that intrigues me the most. She is very fond of the YSL era which there are apparent remnants of that line in her new collection. I love the tailored suits, the high slit dresses and skirts. The leather jacket with fur trim collar and wrists is AMAZE BALLS!

GIVENCHY PRE FALL 2012

Every single look that graced the runway was striking! I was completely mesmerized by the play on texture, the color blocking, fur trim shades, and the statement BOOTS ON EVERY MODEL! I live for every look that Joan Smalls wore and the way her skin perfectly accented the tones of the garments. If you don’t know who she is you need to look her up, she was also in the Spring campaign for CHANEL which I’ve also posted about a little while ago. The way the boots fit with that tall cuff that stops right above the knee cap — all I could think was I need these boots for my sanity!!!!! The long black fitted leather gloves are everything and the coats that had leather sleeves is such a BIG trend this season that I am in love with.

It is undoubtedly my favorite Pre Fall 2012 collection thus far!

STELLA MCCARTNEY PRE-FALL 2012

Stella McCartney. Where do we begin? This collection is so strong with masculine references from the coats to the tailoring of the suits and yet feminine with her scalloped edge tops paired with high waisted skirts. Such an eclectic mix of prints and fabrics, Stella McCartney showed such versatility in her looks which really blended an impeccable collection for Pre Fall. It was playful, youthful, masculine, and sexy all in one which I don’t believe is very easy to transcend in one collection. I love the strapless bow top, the all black ensemble of the strapless belted top and matching skirt, the blue suit with the mini skirt, and the fur vest paired with the sweatsuit….basically the entire line lol.

CHANEL PRE-FALL 2012

“Paris Bombay” is the title of the Pre-Fall Chanell 2012 show. From the saggy pantts, draped pearls, and embellished head pieces I am in love with the Indian influence themed looks! Leave it to Karl Lagerfeld to add an element of surprise with the dreads to accent the runway looks….ya gotta love it

RAG & BONE PRE-FALL 2012

I love clean cut silhouettes that give a strikingly bold color block! Rag & Bone has perfected this color blocking trend with their Pre-Fall 2011 collection. The use of bold colors is added as an extra surprise to each look whether it is noticed in the shoe laces, clutch, or layered.
