THE CUFF.

In Uncategorized on 01/06/2012 at 5:48 AM

Some of you may remember from my previous post on jewelry and layering that I’m obsessed with a stacked “arm candy” look. One of those statement pieces that I truly adore happens to be cuffs! Mixing the high and low is really essential to creating your own distinct look and the cuff is a piece that really can stand on its on or can be stacked as well. Whether it is bejeweled or simple in design, a cuff can really add an a nice touch to your personal look.

Below I have listed a mix of different cuffs that range in price and style for every girl!

Tell us what you think!

THE LAYERING EFFECT

Accessories are pieces that can really take a outfit to new heights!

Whether you are dawning white gold or bejeweled colored costume jewelry, it can really elevate a look in a new way! Just the other day I wore a light denim collared shirt under cream cable knit sweater and threw on a jeweled flower necklace that gave my structured top a feminine essence with the added jewelry. But on to the main attraction of this post…

One look that I particularly fell in love with is the layering of cuffs & bib necklaces. I have a lot of go-to designers that really inspire me to perfect the right amount of stackable bangles. Whether its Fenton Fallon, DanniJo, or LuLu Frost for J.Crew I feel a very polished ensemble decked with an arm full of jeweled cocktail rings and bangles can really break up the monotony of a look and define your personal style that makes a person look twice at you and say “that girl has style.”

Check out a few stacked looks from my dear friends Jae, Kenia, & Alyssa I’ve compiled below….hopefully it’ll provide insight into how you can develop your own version of the layering affect! Enjoy!
