The distressed colored leather, textured leather, fur/leather jackets, etc was all amazing!!!!!! Alexander Wang is always my go to designer for an incredibly crafted sweater and I cannot wait to get my hands on a few pieces from the runway! The half face mask paired with the outfits makes the looks all the more striking and evokes such emotion that I could only imagine what it must of felt like to actually be in the midst of the model’s walking down the runway!

Alexander Wang is one of my favorite designers and this SS12 line is such a goodie. What I love about Wang is that a shirt from him is never just your average shirt. There will always be some added surprise that makes the shirt a bit irregular yet cool. I feel he always creates garments with a bit of androgyny which is what draws me to them.  I really like how effortless the looks are and the contrast of light and dark in this collection. There are a few pieces that I would snatch from the runway looks… the leather jeans, tailored button down dress, and even the sweater with the tailored shirt detail!

I decided I wanted to do a photoshoot and asked one of my good friends Seymone Kelly if she would do it for me. Without hesitation she said yes and we met up a few weeks back for smoothies and discussed ideas of places to shoot and different looks I wanted to wear. My whole idea around the photoshoot was to give readers a visual interpretation of my style as opposed to just words. Its that simple. I hope you enjoy the photos and can appreciate the talented photography that Seymone was gracious enough to share with me and YOU!

If there is one thing I love its a well constructed bag! Not just any bag but a bag that is made of good leather with interesting hardware. Pictured above are two of my favorite bags from one of my favorite designers Alexander Wang. I love that his bags are always accented with so many zippers, constructed into different shapes, and essentially are a statement piece to your whole outfit!
