FALL 2017 WISHLIST

fall shopping wishlist

There are so many staple wardrobe items that I want to add to my wardrobe this season that I thought it’d be best to curate a wishlist encompassing different textures, accessories, and more that I’m loving this season in a visual mood board to share with you guys! The key to build a good wardrobe is by having quality statement pieces that you can build off of and I intend to collect a few every season!

fall shopping wishlist So lets get into this list!

  1. Teddy coats

I am loving teddy coats, particularly this reversible hooded teddy coat and this one here particularly for its long clean lines. Pair either coat with a turtleneck, pants, ankle boots and you’re good to go!

  2. Ankle sock boots

As of late, I gravitate toward neutral tones for clothing and shoes and I adore these blush tone ankle sock boots. Paired with raw hemmed straight leg mom jeans or an ankle grazing midi skirt and you’re bound to make your shoes the conversation piece of your entire look.

  3. Mom jeans

Who would’ve thought the mom jeans our mothers wore back in the day would make their way into our wardrobes?! I use to look at throwback photos of my mom in them and thought they weren’t that flattering but unbeknownst to me – they are and I’m obsessed with them.

Check out a few pairs I’m loving here, here, and here.

  4. Statement sleeves

Let me just say that tops with statement sleeves are one of the most FUN ways (at least for me) to take a basic and elevate it with a simple pair of jeans, tapered pants, or wide leg trouser and give a clean and polished look. From bell sleeved, to lace and ruffle trimmed, to corset tops to cinch your waist and accentuate your shape makes for endless ways to pull together a sexy look without being so overt.

  5. Mule slides

I have yet to try this latest trend but I have seen heeled and flat mules done so well that I know that it’s only a matter of time before I add a pair to my shoe collection. I really love this snakeskin print pair of flat mules by Silent D.

  6. Belt and bucket bags

A clean cohesive look with interesting accessories from shoes, sunglasses, earrings, and bags is truly what I love. Bucket bags have been around and just like in true fashion with trends always being recycled – I’m glad their back again! The same can be said for belt bags which look similar to chic fanny packs which can also be fun too :). I’m looking to add at least one or two belt bags to my fall wardrobe including a few cross body bags too.

  7. Wide brim hats

Wide brimmed hats to me really polishes off a look so I’d advise you always invest in a good one. Look no further than Janessa Leone as she does no wrongs in this department. Not to mention baker boy hats have been trending too and look super cute with teddy coats!

  8. Gold drop earrings

What’s better than earrings that look like wearable art? Sign me up to always cop a pair. You can see a few pairs I’m loving right now here and here.

  9. Platform sneakers

I love how a really polished can be dressed down with a pair of sneakers. There’s something to be said about a woman that can pull off a juxtapose showing true personal style. Here’s a pair of platform sneakers I like that aren’t to high in height and are of course in a beige tone.

  10. Mini skirts

I am so happy mini skirts are trending this season. I love them if they’re denim, vinyl, and honestly just because they look cute with ankle so boots or even long thigh high boots to sneakers.

  11. Trench coats

As an avid collector of statement outerwear, I am in search of a good trench coat this season and came across a vinyl one via Asos – classic outerwear piece redone with a twist. This may find its way from my wishlist into my shopping cart soon. Stay tuned! Any current trends you guys loving? Looking to purchase any of items mentioned in my wishlist? Shoe them below!
