WHO IS MIROSLAVA DUMA?

Miroslava Duma is a girl I discovered through Pinterest. I was immediately captivated by her impeccable style and how it was very different from anyone else. I’m on of many that has taken notice to her, she has been featured in some of the most notable high fashion magazines around the world! Known as a quarter of “The Russian Mafia” Miroslava and her crew have been stalked by famous photographer Tommy Ton (who by the way is genius at capturing street style) to show off how they pull together looks from designer pieces. The chic clique comprises Ulyana Sergeenko, a fashion designer with a penchant for turbans who is garnering plaudits on the back of her well-received couture debut in Paris in February; Elena Perminova, model and girlfriend of billionaire media mogul Alexander Lebedev; Vika Gazinskaya, also a fashion designer with an ever-changing haircut and a love of vintage silhouettes; and Mira, the daughter of a Russian senator and founder of Buro 24/7, a fashion news website.

All of these girls exude amazing style but Miroslava is my favorite of them all. Not only is she petite like myself, but she doesn’t deter from wearing avant garde structured garments which the average woman would be afraid to try like the Marni sweater pictured far left above. Yet she will also rock ladylike silhouettes or try something fun and with a twist like wearing two Hermes purses and socks with platform Charlotte Olympia shoes (pictured above far right).
